Put on your tennis shoes: 3rd edition of the Run Marquis Run

My friends, remember, I told you last year about the Marquis de Terme’s charity night trail, for the benefit of the association « Les liens du cœur ».

It is back on Saturday, February 15, 2020 and I would not miss it for anything in the world. You too, don’t forget to register here! !

What a long way, I have come since my first sporting exploits last February! Winning, push-ups on both little fingers, jogging and fitness trail in the vineyards whatever the weather conditions… Since then I’ve kept up my athletic shape on a daily basis.

So it is with a confidence worthy of Usain Bolt that I am once again preparing to line up at the start of the charity trail at Château Marquis de Terme, on Saturday 15 February, at 6.30 pm.

I already have the toes and curls of my white wig wig wiggling in advance! In addition to my physical condition as a cheetah, I have also worked my mind to show an endurance and determination worthy of the greatest champions, to perform during this 13 km race that is so dear to my heart.

However, no complexes, know that if you don’t have my gladiator training, no one will hold it against you to stick to the 8 km Nordic Walking..

Because running or walking, the most important thing is to participate in support of a noble cause. For each registration, 15€ will be donated to the association « Les liens du cœur », and used to open a shuttle to the parents of children with congenital heart disease, to stay close to their children from the Maison des Familles.

To tread with dignity and grace the paths and roads through the vineyards of the Margaux appellation, and to cross forests and swamps in the thick half-light, don’t forget your indispensable ally: : the headlamp.

Mine, with its sponge headband marked « Run Marquis Run », helps me keep my curls tidy, and prevent perspiration from getting my eyes wet!

We’re anxious to make sure that no brave sportsman with a big heart falls from starvation, so we’ve obviously planned a mid-course and finish line refreshment station..

And, to prolong this moment of generosity and conviviality, always festive, we are also organising a gala dinner-cocktail from 9pm onwards at the rate of 55€/person (open to all).
